Not to mention she's straight up lying in her interview about "I was on my way to another class and I figured I was getting pulled over for speeding." If that's the case, why did you hop up out of your car and point to the cop that you were going into Wendy's and try to ask the officer if it was legal to "pull over" a parked vehicle?

When someone doesn't comply, they risk being put in a situation where a cop might not do everything by the book. It doesn't take much effort to just comply, let the police know you are of no threat, get your ticket and be on your way.

They were both out of control and wrong. The sentence should be that they both get to bitch slap each other once. Televise it. Then go their separate ways.

Updated the OP.
Later in the video, on her way to the station, she is talking to a cop who tells her that black people have "violent tendencies." I just...I mean...even if you do believe that is true, why would you tell the person you just arrested, who is of that race, and on video??? Now people will think that Austin cops are all racist.
