Dad does not. Good riddance. The kids will recover from this and have a chance at a normal life now.

Man had argument with his wife, took off with children in car, police say
(CNN)Night had fallen over the Wanaque River in northern New Jersey. A few minutes after 8 p.m., John Spincken stood at the edge of the Interstate 287 overpass with both of his little boys, 100 feet above the chilly waters.
Moments later all three plunged from the bridge, according to state police. The toddlers, ages 1 and 3, survived the fall. But they were left fatherless as the 37-year-old resident of Pequannock, New Jersey, died in an apparent suicide Monday

I'm glad God didn't let those kids perish with their idiot of a father.
The ages are crazy. About the same age as me and my kids. Unreal someone would do that.

How do a 1 and 3 year old survive a 100 foot fall into a river? You would think even if they weren't killed from impact that they'd drown.

I wish the father would have survived, so one day the kids could grow up and both beat him to death the day he gets out of prison.

That's what I was thinking as well. Thankfully they did not.

Dad broke the surface of the water. Amazed they didn't drown.

Article says they may have been saved by trees under the bridge that broke their fall. Unreal

If they landed in water just the impact shouldn't have killed them
Did they land in water or on the ground? Didn't read the article

I can't imagine the terror those babies must have felt especially the 3yo. I hope the dad was paralyzed from the fall and died a slow agonizing drowning.
A fricking 1 year old and 3 year old.

I'm equally happy to hear that the children survived and that he did not.
