Trust me i dont want you lmao. Im not saying I have all the answers, but I think something has to be done. Just as I hate insurance comapnies think something still has to be done with insurance in the this country. I like a couple things Obama has done with it, but dislike some also. But something has to be done, but I dont have the answers.

Offer is their if you change your mind.
You just never know who your talking to over the internet. Who knows, my way may be wrong and you could have proved me wrong. But as in everyday society Im a firefighter/paramedic so im no where near dumb and useless in society.

In return as you know what profession im in, I have yet to tell you my other view on the side of your opinion on this whole debate. I see people all the time abusing the system. And on the other hand I see single mothers of 2 trying to provide for her family but doesnt have much of a chance. Im an advocate of both sides of tunnel

You can always tell the true believers and the ones who superficially understand the point of wages and how they are derived by watching them compare businesses.. Costco and wal mart are not comparable when discussing wages.. They thrive on different models.. Of course the likes of costco and whole foods will push for higher minimum wages as it will inevitable increase their profits.

Four years ago the average new worth of a single black woman in America was less than a McDonald's value meal. Single white woman was at $42,600.

$5

I'm sure everyone that's protesting day and night in Ferguson is bringing down the median average of net wealth and income in our country.

You don't have to be a fricking insider to understand retail dynamics and models.. Simple question.. Are costco and wal mart true comparables on the type of model they derive revenue?

you're obviously a fine person and I wish you the very best in all of your endeavors...as I noted earlier, I obviously went a little overboard in a few of my rants.

as far as the issue at hand, I'm about talked out for this evening, but do agree that the mom you mention is in a terrible position and I feel for her. Even if she really tries, she probably just doesn't understand how the world works and what she needs to do to get ahead.

anyway, enjoyed the visit..take care

You only have to pull in 6 figures to be in the 1%.

You are talking income apparently. And this isn't entirely accurate. I make 6 figures and am in only around the top 3%. There is actually a big difference between me and the true 1 percenters.

Try again please. The top 3% of wage earners is north of $300000 a year so unless your 6 figures is there you are incorrect. Someone making $100000 is nowhere near the top 3%.

What we have here is a failure to communicate...

quote:

Net worth at the 50th percentile (median) totaled $56,335 in 2013. Which is down over 31K (36%) in the last 10 years.

Not sure what you are missing here, or even what point you are trying to make.

I don't get upset about much at all and truly enjoy everyday. I am grateful for all of my blessings and try to help others. So yes. I feel "richer" than most.

I also have a frickpile of money and nice shite. So there's that.

ETA: Money threads like this are icky.
