My Dorkie is pretty damn smart. Figured his intelligence came from his Yorkie side and stubbornness from his Daschund side.

My wife has a yorkie also and we have this problem. Pisses in the house. I have pretty much stopped it by smearing his face in it and yelling at it. I even point and yell at her now, she gets the picture and cowers. As for chasing mice, that dog is as worthless as a fake vagina at a queer convention.

Mini-dachshund here. She does this INTENTIONALLY. The zealots will call it "separation anxiety" but she's 13 years old. They say that dachshund is German for "badger dog" but it really means "all colon" This animal has been trained to go outside, or on the pad when we're not home. But some days it's like Ron White's "poopapalooza."

This one climbed up, when she was young, a chair we hadn't pushed in, and shite on the dining room table. She's soured us on dogs.

Yes. All small dogs are stupid and worthless.

If you are gonna get a dog, at least go medium sized.

Have some self respect.

Rescued a Yorkie 2 months ago. 1 year old. She did the same thing. We regulated her food and water intake so we could control the potty breaks. Keep a consistent intake routine and let them out 15 after drinking or eating. They get the hang of it. No accidents for 3 weeks now.

I'm convinced that all little dogs are narcissists and suffer from a napoleon complex.

Like from a fire?

Or like did you dive into a body of water with a knife in your teeth to save it?

Pecking order in maxxrajun70's house

1) Girlfriend
2) Yorkie
3a) Lab
3b) maxxrajun70

You need to tune that little bastard up and make an example of him to let everyone else in that house know that the Lab's in control and you've got his back.

As a landlord, it pisses me off when people say "I only have a small dog". My parents owned a Dashund and I've been around plenty of the yorkie, shitsu, etc. to know those are some of the absolute worst to have in a house. I've straight told people I'd let someone have a 30 lb dog well before a small dog. All small dogs are just horrible to house train and they dgaf.

yep, they are that f-ing stupid. ms mack has a mix yorkie/chihuahua in our house that is dumb as a box of rocks and craps/pisses everywhere. she's really tried to train the mutt w/o any luck.
my solution is if the dog shite/piss in my house i get to shite/piss in the kennel it sleeps in. ms mack said "NO!"

Our yorkie is like an aggravated old man.

Dog doesn't hold anything back and of he doesn't like someone he lets them know. He definitely knows where to go to the bathroom. He's pretty hilarious around people he doesnt like.

My wife's yorkie is smart as frick. I get annoyed because she litterly has a bladder the size of a pea but she runs to the door every time she has to go (every 20 minutes). She also has an incredible memory for a dog.
