For rotary wing training? I've spent a good bit of time at Rucker and been all over that base. Never saw any foreign people.
Also never saw any in Enterprise, which I wouldn't really call a cultural center of Alabama.

IIRC more than a few UK soldiers/sailors have taken classes at West Point and Annapolis.

I've seen UK Royal Navy sailors at NAS Pensacola before. Didn't ask what they were doing there though... They looked like officers so I am guessing they were pilots.

There were a lot at Fort Benning at all of the infantry schools. I would guess at least 10% of every school I went to there was foreign.

Seems like all the shite happens on the other side of the world from us so we need bases closer to the action. shite doesn't happen in the US so other countries don't need bases here.

I see plenty of foreign military in the Montgomery area. Of course Maxwell having an Air University helps out a lot. I see several foreign military on base too.

I went to an school in the army with a spetnaz fellow who wore the little blue and white striped sailor shirt. He smoked these aweful unfiltered cigarettes and would do loops on the chin-up bar while smoking.

Yes, they are the Joint Forces Commands aka JFCOM.
We do a lot of training with full units from other countries. For the most part they use assigned billets interspersed in our military.

Yes in my class alone back in 2010ish we had 2 Saudis, 2 Afghans, and 2 Taiwanese guys. There are way more than that there. That was just my primary class. There is an entire company not sure the designation I think it used to be D/1-145 who dealt solely with IMSO.

Countless countries send their soldiers here for training. When I was at the U.S. Armor School at Ft. Knox you'd see uniforms from numerous countries. In fact, I remember when the M1A2 was first being fielded in the mid 90's, the first time I saw them going out into the field at Ft. Knox, they were crewed by tankers from Saudi Arabia.

CentCom and MarCent on MacDill AFB in Tampa have personell form 14 nations full time on the base.

Sheppard AFB, had 3 Saudis in my class, they have a lot of different militaries that train there. They would walk around just like us. I know the Saudis once they would get to their second phase like us, could rent cars and go places too

At one time, the Benning School for Boys was full of military personnel from our Central American allies, with most majoring in Counter Insurgency.

It's WHINSEC now, and they are still there...just re-branded and a lot more low key after all the bad press they got a few decades ago.
