Why would you want pleated pants?

I wear the shite out of pleats. I don't give a shite who doesn't think it's cool. When pleated pants come back, I'll be riding that sweet fashion wave right into an ocean of succulent pussy.

I'm surrounded by suit wearers, but I pay no fricking attention to how many buttons, pleats or not, what type vents in the jacket, etc.

When I need to buy one, I start taking note for a few days of what seems to be in style, then consult a few women and the gents at the haberdashery who apparently spend a lot of time thinking about such matters.

Then I go back to being oblivious to it.

Pleats make you or anyone look fat.

If you're fat, like me, flat fronts don't matter bro

The best kind of discrimination. It knows no race, ethnicity, or religion.

It judges purely on how fricking gross you are.

Pleated pants are not a "fat man" thing. Until recently I always assumed pleats and cuffed pants were more formal. Only reason I dont buy it right now is because its so uncommon in the last 10 years. At first flat front was your more "casual" suit. Now its become commonplace. But this is also the generation who thinks tucking in your shirt is god awful unless you're going to a formal event. So I dont take too much advice in regards to what is formal. Its just a passing fad to purely wear flat front. It'll come back around. Its not the first time this has happened. But I'll admit I've given in to the flat front pants in order to not look out of place. I'm also not a big guy, just grew up thinking flat front was more of your Chino casual style and pleated was formal.

Sure. I take it you don't live in a major metropolitan area.

Show me a skinny or fit person that wears pleats? Pleats are definitely for folks who are overweight. It's not a rude statement. It's just a fact.
