I don't have the bracelet. But the rubber strap smells like vanilla. No shite

The rubber strap is of excellent quality but I found it to be too thin to adequately position the large case on the JSAR.

The bracelet is legit for $200. Very high quality.

Always buy a watch on a bracelet even if you plan on changing it to a strap later. Aftermarket straps are cheap, bracelets are expensive. Bracelets last a lot longer especially in the summer months due to sweat. I wear bracelet in the summer and switch to a strap in the winter.

If you like the Luminox brand you might want to check out Traser too. Very similar watches (either still are or once were made by the same manufacturer). Could give you some more choices on looks.

I have had this one for about a year and a half and the crystal still has zero scratches on it even after some pretty good knock down drag outs. You can also get these cheaper than what is listed on the official webpage.

I agree. I like the Trasers. If I were buying today I'd probably get one of those instead of my luminox.

Luminox is not the official watch of the seals. Big misconception, but it helps them sell watches. Gshocks are much better.

Rhonda 515 movement, $15 retail. It's a beater at best. Navy Seals wear watches made by Resco Instruments.

I've had this Victorinox Swiss Army Summit XLT for about 5 years with no problems. I beat the crap out of it, and it still works fine. It is the one on the right, and IIRC, I bought it for around $275

Luminox 3051 Colormark here.

I have worn it nearly everyday for 2 years and it is still going strong.

That's why I either need a bracelet or rubber strap. I tried a NATO band and it started smelling after a while due to sweat.

Victorinox is a respected brand. Well made with ETA movements. Divemaster 500 is one of the very best sub $500 diver.

What kind of ratings do Armourlite watches get? They are pretty good looking and aren't that expensive.

I've been wearing the same 2 nato bands for about a year now and haven't had this problem. Granted if I sweat a lot or wear it offshore messing with bait and stuff or anything like that, I just shower with it on. Never had a problem with it smelling.

That rubber strap on my watch I posted has been on there since day one. Most of my time is spent walking through the woods, so TIFWIW. Rubber holds up just fine

Average quality.

Lum-Tec and Reactor are better.
