I have a friend that is dealing with his daughter undergoing treatment to change to a male. This has been traumatic on their family as the parents question themselves and the younger sibling is in high school and just pissed that he has to deal with the issues of his older sister/brother.
I know the transgender issue is not new, but it pisses me off how it is now the new agenda item that Hollywood is going to push on folks. The cable shows have started having transgender characters and it will soon cross over to network shows. While it is one thing for liberal adults to do what they want, it is another thing when their issues become mainstream and start confusing kids as to their identity.

Technically they would be gay because no matter what they do they will always be a man, but they would appear to be a straight chick thats looking for a little dick.
I would think a regular bar would be the way to go, unless they still have their penis attached of course.

The transgender folk on Bourbon hang out by the gay end. I figured it's a place where they are more likely to be accepted.

Yea, I understand what you're saying.
I guess I'm thinking if the person has successfully changed to the other sex (looks anyway) they would be able to hang around normal people.

I used to work with an outrageously liberal, completely apologetic white guilt super atheist guy.
He once claimed that if he had a child, he would let the child choose his or her gender. They wouldn't use any masculine or feminine pronouns and would choose an androgynous name for the child.

we have a friend that almost exclusively dates transgendered FTM.
But she always gets dumped, so i am not really friends with them then. She has a new love that i have yet to meet.
we know a few other FTM and MTF but I wouldn't call them friends.
