Years ago when I worked at mama cita's, I was doing my training to become a server and swaggart and his people came in to eat. It was a Sunday evening and they were the only table left, so the guy training me let me take the table by myself so he could get out of there. Swaggart ordered the fajita salad, so everyone else got the same thing (they literally waited till he ordered so they could all get the same thing). Jimmy got French dressing with his, which was an oily disgusting mess. So, when I brought everything out, I go to put his dressing on the table, and due to the little bowl having oil all over the sides, it slipped out of my hand and went straight into his lap. I think pretty much every drop made it onto him. He played it off as it wasn't a big deal and blessed me on his way out, but I decided that being a server wasn't for me and went back to busing.

Well back in the mid 80's he came out with a line of golf balls that didn't sell well. From tee to green they were damned good, but when putted they would roll all the way to the hole but NEVER go in!!!

I carried a card for 1098 many years ago. The Cavins ,Thomas's, Creels, Buratts. I knew them all. I can do something today that I'm guessing not more than a half dozen people in this city can do. Tie lath and frame a plaster ceiling with channel iron and Jerry Hartman taught me that in apprenticeship

I used to park his Towncar and Donnie's Benz and whatever cars of their entire crew, at CCLA. He would tip a dollar or two if he was feeling it.

For the entire group of cars. Sometimes as many as 6.

Cry me a river cocksucker. But. I really do believe that redemption is possible for anyone.

Not him. frick him. He ruined many lives.

I politely told her that Jimmy Swaggart having a workshop on marriage would be like MC Hammer giving a workshop on financial planning.

What did she say to that?

They should round the televangelists up and throw them in jail. They are thieves and crooks. My life long neighbors son married Benny Hinn's youngest daughter this past weekend. Me and my wife attended. That guy is an absolute horror show. So rude and disrespectful. Just a shitty guy and his family was a circus except for the beautiful bride.

It's incredible how little you hear of him in BR. As a non native who's lived here several years I can't think of a single time I've referenced that complex aside from it simply being a point of reference. I've never encountered anyone who goes there nor heard if anyone going.

Sold a shitload of computers to the college, they all seemed great to work with.

Loved driving down Bluebonnet on the way home, passing under that pedestrian walkway and seeing the spray painted sign "Je$u$ $ave$".

I went to school with Donnie. I might know your sister too.

I'll pass on any stories about Jimmy.

I remember when he owned a few city blocks behind Bon Marche'. He lived on Tara Blvd and drove an old VW Beetle convertible.

I wouldn't waste money on those fricking sociopaths. A bullet is a lot cheaper.

Better yet, march them out publicly, strip them naked, cut their dicks and nuts off, and then hang them and let em' dance their way to hell.

I wonder how much he is worth? The real estate is worth a lot but I wonder about offshore accounts, gold, etc.

The hampers full of checks and cash were rolling strong back in the day.

You just talk that shite like you have some idea of who either one of those men really are.

Maybe that's why you are divorced, and highly bitter?

I'm a bitter divorcee, so I get it, but I think you are trying to fit your bitterness inside this thread, without point.

Years ago I waited tables at Steak & Ale. We had wine bottles on each table as a place setting. Brother Jim'a came in one day with a group of 25. We pulled tables together and seated them. The right good reverend stood up and caused a scene in the restaurant insisting we take the vile devil's brew off his tables.
