Drug test everyone that's ridden in that truck including you so as not to be accused of racism. It'll be a white guy.

I guess they thought he was under the influence of it because they found a bunch of it on him. I don't know anything about drugs though.

Lol. It doesnt cross the blood brain barrier. Very few people will have the ability to get high off of it. Might as well take Loperamide (the acting ingredient in immodium) to get high. It is however extremely addicting, as are all opiates.

It acts on ALL 3 of the receptors that react to opiates in your brain. It gets you high.

I'm not trying to sound like a badass. But you are wrong. IT DOESN'T CROSS THE BLOOD BRAIN BARRIER. 99% of people cannot get high off of suboxone or methadone.

Yes it does attach to the opiate receptors. And I guess if someone who has almost no opiate tolerance at all took subs they could get high, but they would more than likely get sick as hell. If it's used as it's intended which is what I have experience with then it will not get you high. At all. It just makes physical withdrawals a breeze.

You're a fricking idiot. The active ingredient buprenorphine gets all kinds of across the blood brain barrier.

I've got a few that work seasonally. I don't give a rats arse as long as they do good work. We have an outdoor restaurant, the food industry is overrun by addicts and alcoholics.

One of the best engineers I know is a heroin addict. He functions perfectly fine and people don't suspect a thing.

I caught a show once on TV where they had people perform tasks while under the influence of different drugs. Heroin, cocaine, meth, and marijuana. The heroin addict was the only one able to perform the tasks normally.

You keep saying this. For those of us who lack the biological training that you've obviously received, can you explain to us what it is and why this drug doesn't cross it?

Suboxone is not a dangerous drug for people who actually need it. If you dont need it or have never taken it, I would strongly advise not taking it.

Wat. I was addicted to oxycontin back in the day. Since being clean I've relapsed on subs and methadone. Both of them got me high as frick.

No I'm not. I was addicted to opiates for 10 years and recently got clean(July). I used to take Subs recreationally when I could find them and yes, they do frick you up. I now take them as part of my treatment program, and the first couple days I got a "buzz" but I was eased into it, half a 2mg strip twice a day. Now I'm on a whole strip twice a day, and it doesn't frick me up anymore, but probably would if I didn't take it for a couple days.

Buprenorphine

quote:

Buprenorphine is a semi-synthetic, highly lipophilic opioid derived from thebaine. Buprenorphine is a partial agonist at µ receptors; it has higher affinity for µ receptors but a lower activity at these receptors than the pure agonists. Buprenorphine is 25 to 50 times more potent than morphine, and the recommended intramuscular dose is 0.3 mg, which acts after 30 minutes and lasts for up to 8 hours. Extensive hepatic metabolism means that the bioavailability is low when given orally, but sublingual administration of 0.4mgs of buprenorphine is effective. The adverse effects are similar to morphine but as buprenorphine has very high affinity for µ receptors, it may be only incompletely reversed by naloxone. The major problem with buprenorphine is the high incidence of severe nausea and vomiting experienced especially by patients who are mobile.

TL:DR Gets you high as frick
