Just called a friend of mine and you guys are right. I was thinking of methadone. Subs do cross the BBB. My apologies. I still have never met anyone who got high off subs and I've been around some terrible junkies. I know people who abuse it but that's because they get hooked on it during heroin withdrawal and don't want to go through sub withdrawal.

methadone fricks you up even more than subs, which is a reasons they manufactured subs in the first place.

Tell whoever it is he should consider taking it for his entire life or take off a month of work to get off it now. shite is just as bad getting off of at heroin/pain pills but it lasts a lot longer

If it's the 8mg then yea I'd say that's a lot. You really shouldn't need more than 1 a day and should taper down to even less if you've been on them for a while. It's mainly mental if you think you need to keep taking that much for a long period. The half life of sub is so long that it builds up a ton in your system

buddy gave me one back in high school. shite will frick you up, son. I was puking all night and the next morning I felt sicker than I ever had in my life. pretty crazy sensation though

Yea I would advise anyone who doesn't have an opiate tolerance to NOT take any amount of subs

The suboxone and methadone long term treatment plan is a huge racket IMO. Those clinics want you on that shite for life.

You probably already know this, but getting off the subs is gonna be a royal pain in the arse even if you taper down to 1 mg a day. I would honestly try to stop them as soon as you can

Before I cleaned up I used to take an 8mg when I was wired out of my skull on crank cause it made me feel really really bulletproof

And they don't tell first time users that it would probably be easier to just get off the heroin or pills than starting long term treatment and trying to get off methadone or subs
