Yeah, that's fricked up. You need to start eating unhealthy one day a week or something. Only fat chicks like scrawny dudes

I do enjoy Saturday night dinners where I cheat

Problem is I will fast that day leading up to it and the following 15-18 hours plus work out for 2.5 hours to compensate

I'm 35, married two small kids

Do y'all think 150 is too skinny? I think I look normal

150 is pushing it, bro.

I was in your situation. I'm about your height and I got down to 155. I was ripped, but it was too much. I realized I had a body image problem.

Now, I'm over 170 and I look a whole lot better.

I don't think you should trust your perception right now. Lots of people in throes of eating disorders also have a disordered view of their appearance.

How tall are you? I'm 6'3" and fluctuate between 205-215. I also lift regularly and go thru bulk/cut periods.

I have known girls your size that look perfectly fine, so yes.

If you have a lanky body type, that might be acceptable. I'm 5'11 and 175 has me cut (185 right now). My upper body is naturally big though, and I looked fine at 200 when I was working out.

It seems like all of that working out would cut into the time you could be spending with your kids

1. Write down the consequences you fear of gaining too much weight back.

2. Talk with a therapist about your list.

3. Determine what/who is demanding your results.

4. Eat a stick of butter each morning for breakfast.

im almost 5'11 with broad shoulders and a large frame. my dr measured my bones and i did some test on my body and i fall in the "large frame" category.

yeah its tough man, its a work in progress. im just afraid to gain weight without gaining fat. i want my clothes to still fit.

i now avoid work happy hours and dinners because i dont trust myself. its an addiction just like drugs, alcohol, etc. i know if i go to a nice restaurant on the company dollar i will eat 3-4,000 calories and not eat for the day after so its easier to just avoid it.

Bro. You're slowly killing yourself, both physically and mentally. You need to get help, and you need to socialize.

You should listen to everything NoHo has said in this thread and follow her instructions on what to do.

While I've never had an eating disorder I've been very close to the situation and her plan is spot on what you need.

I have known both anorexics and bulimics. The one thing they all had in common was they were absolutely amazing liars about their conditions.

I think you are telling the truth here because it is an anonymous message board. Commit to telling the truth when you are speaking to medical professionals as well. They are there to help you by routing you in the right direction. The more they know, the better decisions they can make, on your behalf.

Good luck.

Dude, you need to get fat. Honestly, I'd say a guy of your height should in the very least be 165, and I'd say more likely 175. You must look like a skeleton. Start eating, man. Being 5 pounds overweight isn't going to kill you.

Thanks guys. Trying to get some help
I'm actually taking today off from the gym even though it's killing me and I feel so guilty.

My body just can't hold up. I'm so tired and I averaged 8.6 miles the past 5 days.

Have a company outing tonight so I'm gonna have to watch what I eat since I didn't go to the gym but it's all good

I know someone very close to me who had an extremely similar workout regiment and thought process toward food & eating as you do. I'll get to the point, you are damaging your body. ie muscle tissue & liver. You have a very long road ahead of you and there is no way you can do it without help in my opinion. You need an anorexic specialist and a dietician. I don't mean to scare you because I know how important it is to you but they are going to want you to cut way down on your workouts, they sound very excessive even if you ate enough calories. Send me an email if you have any specific questions, I know all about what you are getting ready to experience. Good luck man! wrosev1@gmail.com

What does your daily diet look like? It seriously sounds like you are more excessive with your workout routine than anything.
