shattered a lense today and and wondering if the cost and turnaround time makes it easier to just buy a new pair.

Its only a 400g lense in the Cut tortoise frame, not outdoor board approved 580g.

Pretty sure we had a pair for my son fixed one time; nominal fee ... check the outdoor board for more info. THink there was something on that recently.

I've had nothing but excellent experiences with Costa customer service and warranty dept.

More than likely they will replace the lens for only shipping costs.

Superintendent I work with shattered his 5 year old pair of Fathoms. Sent him a brand new pair for like $50.

You can buy the lenses on eBay and do it yourself

Had a cracked lens replaced and it ran me $80. The turnaround was about 8 days.

Had the lens film start to bubble around the edges one time. Sent them off, paid ~ $11 and they sent them back in a couple of weeks. They also fixed the tip of the frame at the ear piece that was broken, I didn't request that in my claim. They fixed them up nicely, basically a new pair. I'm a customer for life.

Yeah, you'll pay for the lense and shipping. It's about $90 if I recall correctly (for the 580G lens)

For a shattered lens replacement (I'll assume they didn't actually repair it, but semantics) it was about $60 total and a 2-3 week turnaround. It's been a while though. I could be way off.

Total turnaround was about a week. I think it was either $90 or $100 for 580G lens replacement. They replace the pair, not just one.

I sent them a message through their site 12 days ago and asked the cost to replace my lenses (one is scratched). Got an auto reply saying they would respond promptly. Haven't heard shite yet.
