re: I want the falcons to win the super bowl - cleeveclever on 1/16/17 at 9:31 pm
If your reason for wanting the Falcons to win a Super Bowl is to, somehow, bolster Drew's legacy -- you have a very warped logic. Matt Ryan is about to get an MVP. An honor never bestowed upon Drew. Matt Ryan is already getting media accolades that Drew seldomly gets all for doing in one season ...

re: Anyone else sonetimes miss rotary phones? - cleeveclever on 1/16/17 at 9:23 pm
My grandma does. She also died ten years ago. What about the Tone/pulse transition phones. They looked like a touchtone but you'd hear a numbered pulse after every button pressed. Nobody misses those. They suck. Back several years ago, I got a really cool rotary phone at a garage sale ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Cortana’s local tenants frustrated, nervous as national retailers pack up - cleeveclever on 1/16/17 at 9:18 pm
Cortana did once upon a time as well
Yup. That's where I saw Return of the Jedi multiple times. I also saw The Money Pit there. It was a theee screen theater, if I recall. I remember a decent sized screen and a couple of little ones. Although, I could be mis-remembering that as...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
Reddit is cancer, bunch of liberal idiots looking for upvotes and "gold". It's a huge hive mind.
This is an aspect of Reddit that I don't enjoy. I'll spend some time on Reddit when I want to see some non-local posting and some in the subreddits are pretty active with good conte...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Woman not happy about WBRZ's racist article about woman murdered in BR. - cleeveclever on 1/12/17 at 8:42 am
I have a journalism degree, so I'll take a stab at this... One of the number one rules in news reporting is proximity. Your job is to report the events, accurately and thoroughly and to determine who these facts will impact and how it may impact them. If a murder occurs within a reasonable di...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Did You Ever Call The WCW Hotline? - cleeveclever on 1/11/17 at 10:23 pm
Back when Sgt. Slaughter "joined" GI Joe in the mid 80s, with all the GI Joe action figures sold at the time there was a little piece of paper advertising a 900 number. It was .50 a minute. Curiosity got the best of me and I called the number and listened just long enough to hear a recorded Sgt...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
Did anybody in BR ever call the 383-0000 number and listen to the pre-recorded "pro wrestling update" from Dave Hernandez? Good memories man
I sure as hell did! I wasn't even a fan of wrestling by that point, but there was something so old school about it that I'd occasionally c...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Were the 90s as good for you as they seemed to be for everyone else? - cleeveclever on 1/11/17 at 7:17 am
I was age 14-24 during the 90s, so i experienced both the 80s and 90s during formative years of my life. While I'm partial to the 80s experience, I also have a great fondness for the 90s. In the 80s, cable TV, particularly ESPN and MTV, really opened the limited regional worldview of many to the...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

Swing by a pet store or a Target pet section. Go into the cat area, specifically where the litter box stuff is. Grab a charcoal litter box filter. Purchase said filter. Haul arse to the bathroom and position that bad boy between your gooch and the middle of your crack. Profit....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

I get sea sick very easily and the Scopolamine patch worked great for me. Have him call his GP or an ENT. It's worth it. The dry mouth is unpleasant but way less unpleasant than puking and wishing you were dead....

re: Winter storms shouldn't be named.... - cleeveclever on 12/28/16 at 9:35 pm
I'm sure insurance companies have something to do with storms getting "named". Lots of these homeowner policies have "named storm deductibles" where they get to jack up the deductible percentage. The more storms that are named, the less they have to come out of pocket to cover their policy holders. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)

We lived near Greenwell Springs road and Monterrey Blvd. I was with my brothers listening to the Saints game (it was blacked out on tv). The radio broadcast cut out and then about five seconds later we heard a rumble that sounded like someone ran across our roof. We ran out the house thinking someon...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: How often does your SO initiate sexual contact? How often do you? - cleeveclever on 12/23/16 at 2:01 am
Been married 7 years, together 11. Spouse initiates once every couple of months. I initiate about 3-4 times a week with about a 50% success rate. It gets tedious at times but I keep initiating because I don't want her to think I'm content in any way with a sexless marriage. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

Arkansas 07' triple OT game. I was in north LA with wife's family. It was cold, cold outside. I thought our NC chances were boned, so I went outside to not melt down in front of my wife's peeps. My blood pressure was so high and I could feel the heat radiating off my face. I was actually c...
