Anyone else not care for Halloween?

Everybody around me seems to get so fired up about it, and to me it's just meh. I'm not one of those "Halloween is the devil" people, I just don't get excited for it or any of the stuff that goes along with it.

Halloween is great, most holidays are just for grown-ups or just for kids. Halloween is one of the few that's great for everyone except for miserable counts.
(By "miserable counts" I mean people like you, cause you're a miserable count)

I'm not miserable, I still go to Halloween events with family/friends, still hand out candy, etc., I just don't get super excited about it.

It was a lot more fun when my kids were younger. Also, I live out in the country so we never get any trick-or-treaters. If I lived in a subdivision I'd might be more into it.

I like it but it's not a big deal.
It's still better than New Years, which is literally just a normal day but the calendar turning over. Never got the excitement for that.

i don't necessarily love halloween, but for me it kicks off the holiday season, so halloween to january 1st is my favorite time of year.
edit- i actually prefer the week or so leading up to halloween, and seeing everyone's homes decorated and such.
