I get to the gym around 4am and work weights for about 40 minutes and run for 30. I only go three days a week with maybe a fourth day where I go at 5 for just the running.

It's a great start to the day but you will sacrifice lifting as heavy a you would with a later workout.

I used to go to the gym before work. NOT a morning person. I do better working out at night because I feel like I'm working off the day's stress. I know a lot of people feel better if they exercise in the morning, but it just made me tired and I didn't work out very hard.

Yes.

Either 0500 or 0600.

45 minutes of circuits similar to crossfit and 45 minutes of running/cardio.

Doesn't suck, you get used to it.

It's great because you're done with it for the day before your day even starts.

I really wish that I could, but I'm a last minute person in the morning. I'd rather workout at night.

I hate mornings. I feel like shite every morning, And if I try to exercise before 10am I get diarrhea. Mornings suck.

I only do it sometimes. I thought that it would suck, but I feel great the rest of the day. The only reason that I don't do it more is that I normally try and get to work early already (before 6am) and have trouble waking up early enough. But if I do go it's normally around 5 and for one hour so that I can shower and get to work by 630.

I do for about an hour and a half. The hard part is getting out of bed. After that, it's great and my days are much more productive.

Yep, been doing it everyday for the past five years. I workout 45-60 minutes doing hiit training or other cardio training. It's been proven that those that work out right after they wake up last longer with the routine than those that work out after work. Good luck getting into shape.

45 minutes
I'm at the gyn for 4:30
Once you get into a regular routine it is really a great way to start the day. Going back after a few weeks off sucks.

Been doing it on and off since my oldest kid was born and he is 15 now. Basically had to redo my lifting program since I always lifted after work. I usually roll in to the gym now about 0430 and lift or do cardio till about 0600 or so. It takes some adjustment to get used to but once you do it a while it is ok.

430 am crew checking in. I go 5 days a week and workout for an hour. Gym is surprisingly full at that time in the am but I like it. When I get to work I am full of energy and raring to go. Times when I do go in the afternoon make me glad I go in the morning seeing all the bros posing in the mirror and curling in the squat rack.

Yep. Go in at 4:45 and do weights for 45 min and cardio for 30 min. M-F

See the same people and it's not too crowded.

Glad to get it done so I don't worry about it the rest of the day.

I was a devoted night time work out guy before the kids were born. It took me two years of being a fat body to finally realize that I was going to play with them rather than work out. So I went to mornings and haven't tlooked back. I also have near 100 percent compliance about going each morning and now that it isn't cold, I will certainly get up out of my warm bed.

I am the complete opposite of a morning person, but work out at 6 AM 4 times a week. For me I must have a gym buddy to meet so I don't have trouble getting there. Major advantages are there are less people at the gym, I feel accomplished for the day, and it is easier to routine.
