I'm definitely gonna change to mornings with a new baby coming and the new job working Monday through Friday now. Do y'all eat before or after workouts?

I only drink my whey before. Then more whey and breakfast after.

The pre-workout supps always tear up my stomach if I eat right before or after I take them.

Usually something light and some NO Explode right when I wake up. If you go in and lift on an empty stomach I think you are asking for problems. Cardio, probably safe to not eat. Drink my shake afterwards then eat a big breakfast about 0900 or so at the office.

What kind of problems? I've done this for over a decade and haven't had any issues.

I do it. I wake up at 5:00, do 60 to 80 minutes in the gym at the apartment. Get into work at 7:15. I find I have more energy throughout the day. I also fall asleep earlier in the evenings and seem to sleep better at night.

If I workout after work I'm up until really late and feel tired the next day.

Like get light headed. Fatigue. Just feeling weak. I need something in there since my last meal was 8 hours or so previous and we lift heavy in the mornings.

Oh ok. Yeah I get some of that from time to time. I thought you meant something more serious.

I just do 50 pushups in the morning because I bust my arse at work all day and don't really need to work out right now. When I had an office job I worked out for 30 minutes to an hour every morning and it helped alot. I was much less sleepy throughout the day than if I just woke up and drove to work.

I go in at 8am and work till about 7:30 most days. Yeah my hours suck a fat one. I usually get up at 5:30am and I'm at the gym about 6...leave gym at 6:55 and go home to shower and then head to work.

I sleep better at night when I workout early a.m. I also have more energy on early am workout days too (go figure).

After work workouts basically are not an option for me. I only get off early 1 day and that's at 5pm so I can league bowl. I wouldn't know what to do if I got off at 5 or 6 every day

every day. it feels great to get one in before heading out for the day. would rather do that than work all day and have to grind out a workout after a long day.

Well I'm convinced. I'm going to start working out in the mornings. I do T-25 so I really have no excuse to have not been doing it in the AM.

I get home from work and spend time with my daughter, and don't work out until after she goes to bed. It has had me working out about 7:30-8 and I've been struggling through the workouts. Not to mention eating dinner at about 9. Actually had to go eat at cafe Phoenecia by myself last night because I didn't feel like cooking for just myself and everybidy had already eaten dinner.

Not good if you are going to bed right after.
