It's good you are getting checkups. I used to do it every year and didn't for a few years. Low and behold, my liver enzymes were pretty high in the last one.

Glad to hear all is going well. Keep doing those annual checkups either way.

i'm trying to cut the week beer drinking myself as well. Monday drank nuffin and last night i had barely 1 glass of red wine. Trying to cut a lot off carbs and stuff out diet, its like i'm not hungry but just insanely craving any/some sort of junk food to get that more filled feeling. But i need to really get away from beer Sunday afternoon's till Friday nights.

Well that’s terrifying and explains quite a bit

I went three nights without drinking Thursday Friday and Saturday this past week. I woke up one night with my fists swinging in the air. In the dream someone was about to harm my son and I wasn't having any of it. Heart pounding and everything. I had to get up and shake that off before going back to sleep

I'm trying to cut back on drinking as well. It's helping me to keep some hot tea on hand and drink a couple cups a night.

Earl grey, chamomile, lemon ginger.

Yep. I haven't drank during the week for the past 3 weeks, and it seems like 3 out of 5 nights I wake up around 2:30 after a crazy dream. I haven't really been able to remember my last few though. I always get up, go make a glass of water, chug it and go back to sleep.

Did you go cold turkey?

I'm trying to gradually cut back until I get to where I'm not drinking anything 3-4 days a week, but I don't want the crazy dreams.

that's what i'm doing now. I only drank on saturday last week. I am heavily involved in the craft beer scene so completely quitting and being social would take more discipline than I have.

this was on a joe Rogan episode with a sleep specialist. It was really interesting.

Got to be this. When I get drunk I just wake up the next day and don't even remember sleeping. Just the time is several hours later.

I don't drink earl grey often. Sometimes I want coffee in the evenings, so I drink earl grey instead. If it's anywhere near bedtime, I pick a flavored decaf like chamomile.

I hate to say keep drinking but people really need to taper. I had a seizure after a straight week of being liquor drunk at St. Simons and had a seizure when I got back. Seizures themselves aren't that big of a deal but it was scary as shite for me. I remember I was actually on this board and all of a sudden I didn't know what I was looking at and even the words looked foreign. I don't remember where I came to but my heart rate was about 200, I was soaked in sweat, and I was frantically looking for something, no idea what. Seizures suck, feels like your body is betraying you.

It's always like that in dreams for some reason. I can only get as far as getting a beej and then either I wake up or some random dream shite happens before I can get any poon :(
