How much debt did you finish school with?

How much school was paid for through scholarships etc?

Should've been an ophthalmologist.

ETA: Pretty sure you have to be Asian in which case all of your school should be covered by scholarships and minority grants.

Tree fiddy hundert.
Arkansians needs to stick to raping lost tourists and messing with their own kinfolk and livestock, leave the professional trades to us normal humans.

You'll be fine.
Just take it one day at a time and don't look too far into the future, you'll get overwhelmed.

Sorry. Read it as "optimists"

Current debt load for an optometry student depends upon what school. Rough average from students coming through my office is about 175 including undergrad.

No, they're the "great value" of eye doctors. That's why so many work at wal mart

Step 1) Go to optometry school for 4 years...become optometrist
Step 2) Push for legislation by playing radio and television ads to extend optometrist privileges into the scope of ophthalmology which required 8 years of training
Step 3) Profit

Step 3 is actually get training under an ophthalmologist
Step 4 is they still don't make as much as an ophthalmologist

If they could, they wouldn't be optometrists.

Hey. I almost went to optometry school. Banker's hours at a doctor's pay with no call.

Or they had a controlling wife that though Optometry school would be less demanding.

I graduated with around $90k in debt. I had a region spot at SCO, so I think it covered around $50k of my tuition. That was about 15 yrs ago, I can't imagine what avg debt is today.

But that's not including undergrad

I was fortunate enough to get TOPPS

Not sure if optometry school is in the same ballpark

Start training now.

Repeat after me: "Better? Or worse? Better? Or worse? Which is better? Number one? Or number two? Number one? Or number two?"

That's pretty much all you need to know.
