Am I the only one that remembers the all you can eat policy?

We would hit the one at Airline and Bluebonnet and just destroy the place - that egg bacon sandwich is hard to beat. But I've always been a cheese eggs and raisan toast fan.

Agree. I could never eat somewhere that's attached to a gas station

The three best breakfasts I've ever had were at gas station restaurants. The absolute best was at a gas station next to a trailer park.

Waffle House is kind of gross. I make better breakfast. Either that or go to brunch at a nice place.

the good news is our neighbor drops a dozen farm eggs in our mailbox every few days which makes up for it.

Bourdain is an a-hole, But the coolest a-hole there is.

Loved when he had to help burn 6 tons of coke. Had tears in his eyes.

Some of the best texas bbq I've ever had was at the original Rudys in Leon Springs, TX. That was back when it was the only Rudys so I don't know how it is now.

Best piece of fried chicken I've ever had was actually sold in a gas station somewhere in the AR delta. I was the only white person there but I'll be damned if I didn't take a bite when I hopped in the car, and came right back in and grabbed a seat to order some more.

That's why I like him. At least he owns it. He seems to be authentic in his work, but if he was given free reign, I wonder if his shows would be much different.

We have Waffle House in AZ. I've never been but I've seen them.

I have eaten in a Waffle House in AZ. They had never heard of cheese grits and fricked them all up.
