What are some things you guys are getting on amazon subscribe and save? Everything I just priced was cheaper at costco.

Yep. Convenience is the primary reason for Amazon these days. I've found others to have comparable prices recently.

Pet food.
Save $10/bag on average.
Have done other items, but I have to stay aware of fluctuations in prices. And I've canceled subscribe and save due to this.

TP, paper plates, paper towels, deodorant, toothpaste, dish washer tabs, laundry detergent.

Pretty much anything I use regularly. I pay no tax, no shipping, and it comes to my doorstep on the reg. If I get too much of something, I skip an interval.

I don't find the savings to be worth much, if there actually are any savings. I was doing this with my dog food and the savings was actually coming from the fact that it wasn't Prime shipping through the Subscribe and Save service but it was Prime shipping if I did it separately. I finally canceled the subscription and order it when I need it through my Amazon Echo. I just tell her to order the dog food and done. The convenience is worth it for most people, though, especially if it saves you from having to go somewhere for one item that weighs 50 lbs.

And TV. I usually get one or two things a month, but I stream content constantly. Easily worth the monthly fee.

Dog treats
Cloris wipes
Razors
Body wash

I don't know if it is cheaper, but the convenience is worth it to me.

It used to almost always be cheaper

Now it's hardly ever cheaper. Sometimes I wonder if the price or qty is wrong because it's so absurd. Prime is getting shittier and shittier IMO.

Viva Paper towels is the only thing I subscribe to

I also do the same thing with Chewy, it's not cheaper but they bring the 25lbs of food to my door for the same price.

Wish I could add HVAC filters.

Not everything is about price.

Lots of people think I'm crazy for spending money on a membership to shop at Costco, and tell me they can get the same stuff at the same price or cheaper elsewhere.

While that may be true, I never spend more than 2 minutes in line, the customers there (for the most part) aren't people you'd find in Wal-Mart, it's always clean, and I don't want to murder society when I leave.

Some things are worth foregoing the cheapest price.

No sales tax, while against the law, can be a differentiating factor for some.

if you have 5 items you get 15% off the total. that probably gets most if not all of your stuff down to walmart prices (esp considering tax - now ~10% in LA).
