Took adderall for the first time in 8th grade. It was the only time I made the honor roll
In school, I'd take it on occasion for big study sessions or all nighters in CEBA/Middleton. We called them "Little Miracles"

I have ADD and was diagnosed around 1990. I take it as needed.
Ok. I take 40 mg of Stratera twice a day.
I was originally taking Concerta, and I encountered awful side effects. The OP admits that he does fine without it, but takes it to get a boost during crunch time.
I get crazy anxiety from my ADHD because I want to focus at work, but instead I simply cannot.
While I realize every disorder affects people differently, I think the medication is over prescribed for people who just want to be able cram. This is why saying you have ADHD or take meds gets such a bad wrap.

My only problem with ADHD occurred in law school, where those diagnosed with it got time and a half to take each exam (4 hour exam gets 6 hours, for example).
I figure, if you get diagnosed and take it, you should get the same amount of time, and if you are diagnosed and don't take it, then you should get the extra.
I've tried that stuff and know "ADHD" people who take it as well, and that stuff is a wonder drug creating an advantage under the conditions I described above.

I never submitted ADA paperwork. However, I was so tired from pulling all nighters that I could take the tests without getting distracted.
