It seems like most of the OT are alcoholics because they are OK with drinking and driving.

Maybe he thinks you're a alcoholic. Ever think of that?

The sad part is that he's going to have to hit bottom before he'll be willing to surrender. That bottom doesn't necessarily have to be homeless and in the gutter.

How about you have your own intervention with him, man to man?

He hits his bottom which is the point when he says im sick of this shite and he admits he needs help.

Sometimes that is what it takes to hit his bottom.

The irony here being, I'm okay with drinking and driving. I am not okay with driving drunk.

Big difference between three drinks and 10.

I'm ok with drinking and driving. It relaxes me to drink a beer on my commute home from work. I'm less likely to get road rage or start driving aggressively to save a few minutes.

I'm not ok with driving drunk.

Are we friends? Right now I'm debating between going to the bar or my sons flag football practice. It's would be a nobrainer for the bar if not for the fact that I'm the coach

It runs in my family, I've seen alcohol destroy a bunch of lives.

There's not much you can do since every corner store offers their drug of choice.

I have 4 kids and two ex wives. Get your shite together Rando, and stop posting while drunk.

And it was a glorious day when we could start buying the booze at 6am on Sundays in EBR.

OP. You need to binge watch Intervention. Watch only the alcoholic episodes. Everybody's story is different but they are all the same.

You think 4 night a week is a "bottom"? You will see with that show how far bottom can be.

Always be there to support him GETTING HELP. Nothing else.

Fa real.

Just watch a couple of episodes of My 600 Pound Life (one of my favorite shows to casually watch and laugh my arse off). You'll quickly realize how shitty their families are, in addition to how shitty their own self-control is.

Maybe your friend is just a trashy piece of shite who deserves to die in a fiery, single-car accident?

I think this is the main issue. We need to make it a lot harder to get this stuff or just make it flat out illegal. Too many families have been hurt.

No shite. I got blackout drunk Saturday before the game and walked home from TS at halftime.... without the GF.
I'm still in the doghouse kinda so I need to feel better about my life.
