Confirm what? Good or bad?

looking at RGB imagery there's some hint at a lower level circulation NE of St. Croix
I see it. So they classify storms based upon lower level circulation (yellow) and not the upper levels (white)?

A closed low level low is what classifies it.

Has anyone asked about punta cana yet?

Well this effect the St Stanislaus home game? Myles Brennan isn't made to play on sloppy fields.

any tropical cyclone requires a closed circulation at the surface.. regardless of wind speed.
the classifications are based on wind speeds, from depression on up to hurricane categories.

Yes and it almost started an e-fight a few pages back. Apparently not everyone was in the tracking threads last year.

Is Bastardi pretty well thought of?
Guy at work subscribes to weatherbell and seems to be a big fan of Bastardi.
So I've been getting updates from him pretty regularly.

Or the joke has just gotten old.

honestly I don't know much about him. I don't watch a lot of TV so I don't keep up with many TV meteorologists.
