They were $60 through Amazon. I think other folks are listing theirs for an arm and a leg

Pretty sure this was a ploy to get people talking about it. There will probably be a few available on Black Friday and then again about mid Dec.

There is a Nintendo Store in Times Square that I may go check out when I'm there in a couple weeks.

Kid Icarus

Haven't read the thread, but this was by far my favorite game ever save for Techmo Super Bowl. I didn't know anybody else who played it except when they were at my house. Anybody else nostalgic for this game?

I owned and loved Kid Icarus. Was a magical game although difficult. The music and the graphics transported me to some ambiguously Ancient Greek fantasyland.

Duck Hunt would be near impossible to play since the light guns don't work on LED/LCD Tvs

Plus it really wasn't that great of a game. After 5 minutes we'd always switch over to Mario

I would definitely buy that if Contra were on there.

I agree, wish they'd figure out a good tech to make it happen. Several games would be great with a legit light gun and could see some using that and the VR stuff coming (along with say kinect) to really have some fun.

On Amazon 90% have rated it a 1 star.

The ordering experience for this product is the worst I've ever experienced at Amazon. Nintendo's failure to allow pre-orders to gauge demand is surely the root cause, but Amazon's site collapsing under the demand of (likely millions) of page refreshes at 2PM pacific and then the experience of adding an item to your card only to be taken to your cart and have it be EMPTY just added to the frustration. This was supposed to be a nostalgic impulse purchase but now I've already wasted more than $60 worth of time trying to buy it, which makes it no longer worth the trouble. Thanks Nintendo.

Epic fail for Nintendo and Amazon. Hope the scalpers rot in hell!

I've been trying to buy it for over 40 minutes. Every time I manage to find it "in stock" I add it to my cart and it automatically disappears! I'm sad and disappointed, this sucks.

they can't delete the bad reviews fast enough on this s*** show of a launch

The negative reviews are all about the buying process and not the game itself so it'll all be ok in a few weeks. Only drawback seems to be the controller having a short wire

Really they have cords? I thought the controllers were cordless bc I saw a bundle somewhere. For NES but I could be wrong
