I still have my original nes and super nes and about 50 games. I'll sell for the right price.

I seriously doubt they change anything about the shipments until the day after Xmas. All those gaming companies do that every year. The Wii and Xbox 360 I remember were impossible to find and stores were only getting a handful for each shipment. Then magically the day after Xmas stores would have hundreds of them.

How does that make sense from Nintendo's perspective? Wouldn't they want to ship as many as possible for Christmas sales? Why limit yourselves?

I guess people that are already interested will buy it no matter what, but by making people camp out and stand in line for stuff it gets the people that maybe weren't going to get one to wonder what the hype is about and buy one.

My friend stood in line and was able to get 3. She flips things on ebay. Had sold it on eBay for $200 before she got home. I saw some were going for $400-500 later in the day.
I was able to get one from Game Stop. They had 12. I was #8. I arrived 15 minutes before they opened in the mall. Target was sold out within minutes. I drove by at 8 when they opened. I saw people running inside. I laughed and turned around. Electronics guy told me the day before they had 15 in the back.
I had actually ordered one online from the Game Stop website. It was soooooo slow, and I wasn't sure if it had gone through or if it would be cancelled.

won't play cartridges. Do not want.

I want an updated that has an internal drive, hdmi, and can play old cartridges. Or be able to download and browse through the entire nes library.

Also wireless full size controller

Why the frick do you need old cartridges? You literally have every game ever made at your fingertips.

because some of us already own old cartridge games. Still have them.

Though, I like what has been done with the new mini system..30 games doesn't cut it.

I'm a fan of the nostalgia, don't want to buy or build a gaming pc for nes. Just want a fully working updated system with an hdmi connection.

no matter how many people say this, there's no comparison of sitting down in front of the tv in your PJ's with your bff (or kid), unraveling the controller, and clicking that little gray button on the NES.

Just like you did when you were a little kid.

Sitting at your computer in the dark, while your SO yells at you to get off the computer isn't quite the same.

Amen.

Also anyone else still sit relatively close to the TV if they ever play video games? The only game I ever play is fifa on occasion and I probably sit no more than 5 feet away from my 55 inch TV old habits die hard.

Amazon has some for $220. Why are they so expensive now? Nintendo should be able to knock out thousands of these for peanuts, while keeping the advertised price of $60.
