Friend of mine just had to replace the transmission, he was like 5th in line waiting for the warranty work, took like three weeks to get it back from the dealer.

you didn't get a high speed vibration from bad struts.

Bad struts can absolutely cause high speed vibrations. The reduced damping on a bad strut can't keep the tire stable at high speed. As a result, you will get a cupped wear pattern on the tire and the vibrations and noise will continue to get worse until the tire is ruined, at that point you will be able to hear and feel vibrations even at parking lot speeds.

Could be gas. After next fillup add a little GHB and see if that stops it.

My 2016 Denali had the same problem. Had to replace torque converter AND transmission. Problem fixed.

Reading this and knowing what my podna has had to do to his Tahoe makes me never want to own a gm product again.

My dad bought a loaded Sierra in 2014 (first GM) and his truck has almost spent more time at the dealership repair shop than in his driveway. It’s absurd. Just tons of issues, several that the dealerships act like dont exist.

Had similar issues with my 15 Sierra 1500. They replaced the torque converter twice in 6 months. Third time they flushed everything without replacement. Each time I left the shop it drove great but the problem came back within a month or two. Finally said screw it and traded it in. Good freaking luck...

My mom's 2016 Yukon Denali was doing the same thing. They told her it was something to do with the torque converter. Idk if that's what it was or not. It is still in the shop.

The GM shake is a very well known problem with the suburbans/yukons and escalades. My sister had a 2016 LTZ that she got rid of because of this and friend has a 2016 Escalade XL that he is trying to dump as well.
