Kayak fishing in Grand Isle surf this week. Counted over 25 sea turtles. Never have seen them in this close. Its this normal this time of the year? ...

White or Black Crappie?
Speck pattern says Black but the ratio of distance from mid eye to start of dorsal fin to length of dorsal fin says White. I didn't count the number of dorsal spines prior to cleaning.

Thanks for the links S10th. I think I'll do a nice spinning rod with specs for tarpon fishing. Thinking of doing a red blank. I do weaves on my builds. Y'all think I should have it say "BAMA" or 'Roll Tide"?
