Stop leaving your damn guns where kids can access them! My guns stay locked up where only me or the wife can get them. And the boys guns stay locked in the safe until I take them out.

Also this lil fricker should be locked up in some mental facility for life. There is no fixing him.

There has to be more to this. The murder weapon was found in a pawn shop. It’s not like the kid marched down to Cash In A Flash and hocked a pistol.

Little kid takes grandpas gun next door…kills guy. Puts gun back where he found it. Two years later grandpa hocks the gun. Two months after that kid fesses up.

Finding out it was a 7-year-old that committed the murder, a senseless murder at that, it's just tragic

Opposed to all the murders by 7 year olds that flat out just make sense.

Any chance the grandfather set this kid up cuz he hated his neighbor and then pawned the gun to get rid of the evidence?

Maybe it can’t be transferred out of juvenile court when below 10 or something else rules out charging a kid below 10, but (a)4 & 5 don’t seem to apply. I don’t think that murder is an ordinance of a political subdivision of the state.

I also haven’t had any coffee today, so I definitely could be misreading it right now.

Oh, ok. They’ll nab him again when he’s an adult serial killer. This kid is a bad seed, has no conscience.

I’m sure they can find reasons to declare him incorrigible and send him to Juvie for the next 8 years.

Not like this little sack of shite is redeemable if he already killed someone for shits and giggles and threatened to kill a classmate.

Sterilization may be in order. Of him and his parents.

The obvious answer here is to hire another 7 to 10 year old to kill the 10 year old murderer.

Boom, loopholes!

Drown that little fricker

The child told investigators he didn't know the victim and the attack was unprovoked.
“I feel like the boy knew exactly what he was doing," Fojtik said. “Why wasn’t the child being supervised more.”
According to a press release from authorities, Gonzales County sheriff's deputies were able to find the gun, which had been sold to a pawn shop in Seguin. From there they were able to confirm that the weapon was used to kill the victim.
Officials said that "because of the severity of the crime," the boy was brought to a San Antonio psychiatric hospital. He has since been admitted to a detention facility in Gonzales County on a charge relating to a school bus incident.
He won't be charged for Rasberry's slaying, however. Officials say that's because of how old he was when he said committed the crime; he shot the victim a week before he turned 8.

Then burn the body & bury it under 30 feet of concrete. Something wicked this way came.

Sometimes children are bad people too.
Saw a documentary the other day, police body cams, 911 call from the mother, interrogation.

A 19 year old white kid from what appeared to be a normal nice family murdered a homeless man and dismembered him. The mother found the dismembered head in a bag in her son’s closet. She and the father called 911 and the cops went to their home and arrested their son in front of them.

The mother and father completely broke down at the realization that their son was a sick monster.

But can the grandfather be charged? The ability for a 8 year old to get his gun and use it in a murder how did the grandfather not know or not care?

We don't know exactly how it went down. His mom or dad might have been there visiting too and he wandered off, got into the car, and did what he did. Unlike the school shooter, I am sure the 7 year old wasn't showing sign of hearing voices and such. And whoever took him to visit grandpa may not have known he had a gun in his car.
