Would you rather limp to 8-8 or bomb to 3-13

...this year?

ETA: 8-8 does not get you to the playoffs and has you drafting 15th; 3-13 has you drafting 3rd (in this scenario)

Limp to 8-8 with a young team. Gain the experience and at least knowing what it takes to win some games

Also don't want to sit through 11 more losses

Depends on if 8-8 gets us into the playoffs or not. As long as there's a chance.

gotta go for 8-8, since 3-13 will be the end of Brees and Payton. I know there is a ton of hate for both of them now, but I want to hold onto the golden age for as long as possible. Sadly, the minute they leave, I imagine 3-13 discussions will be closer to the norm.

THIS! One thing I have enjoyed about the Payton era is so many of the uniquely Saints stigmas and records are gone. I thought I would be in my 80's before we had a chance to even the Falcons series win/loss record. Every win by a Payton team slowly erases another embarrassing monument to our past futility.

We have a lot of new guys and young talent. If they can win some games and others we lose because of rookie mistakes, I'll take 8-8 all day.

This only good for getting rid of coaches you don't want.

Pass.

depends on how they're playing, when they gave up last year I wanted us to lose for a draft pick.

Too early to just say frick it and root for your team to lose now though, that makes for a shitty sunday

10-6, win the division, deep playoff run, build confidence, go into 2016 contending for the ship.

Anyone that replies 8-8 doesn't know how the NFL works.

8-8. A 3-13 team will end of leaving the city (worst case scenario) since a 3-13 team will not put a$$e$ in seats.
Anyway, 3-13 gets a top 5 draft pick which only causes salary cap issues down the line.

8-8.

Rooting for your team to lose to get a better draft pick sucks. Its too dependent on the draft pick panning out more than whoever you pick otherwise.

If you go 3-13, then you have the silver lining of having a high draft pick. But this isnt the NBA where you tank to get a a cant miss superstar that can turn around a franchise

i would normally say bomb out for the draft pick but i don't see any slam dunk top picks right now. if there was a franchise OT or a stud QB i'd say tank. Its looking like a weak draft right now in those departments.
