Did laps around my house, screaming...Then I spent about five minutes whispering to myself "We just won the Super Bowl" over and over...

on a related note, am I the only one who covered his eyes for Hartley's field goal against Minny? I absolutely could not watch...

I covered my eyes on the 4th and 1 when Pierre got the first down... I couldn't watch I was so nervous. I just listened to the Dome reaction

I was at a friend of mine's house with a big group and as he picked it and the room exploded, I stood there in shock and clenched my fists. I was ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that there was going to be a flag on Smith for a block in the back. When it didn't come I just collapsed back into my seat in relief.

Right after that play, some guy I didn't know was yelling "We just won the Super Bowl!" I dog-cussed him and told him to shut up. My friend told me I said something about Manning making a living out of ripping your heart out when you think you had him beat. I honestly didn't relax until there was under a minute left. Call it the conditioned response of a long-time Saints fan.

I was at Ernst Cafe and I remember going nuts. Then an impromptu dance party broke out, and then I went into the street and ran straight at oncoming traffic while screaming as loud as i could. most awesome feeling ever.

Ran straight to bourbon street with the rest of my fraternity brothers from our hotel (marriot) where we were watching it in the lobby. Best weekend of my life

There were 30-40 people in my brothers 2 bedroom house, everyone was drunk and there was a line at the bathroom. I figured Manning was driving down the field and I didn't want to see them score. I went outside behind the house to piss. As I'm holding my best friend in my hand the house erupts in screaming, without even thinking I run full speed from around the house and smack dab into some chick on the phone while I still have my dick in my hand. I look at her and she looks at him and I continue my running spree but this time I remember to put him back up. I got in the house and started jumping up and down with everyone with no clue as to what happened. Thank God for replays.

I called it the week prior, and posted it here. I said the game would be decided by a pick 6 thrown by Manning. When Porter picked it with nothing in front of him, I jumped up, threw the couch pillow on the floor and yelled "WHAT'D I SAY?!" and I don't remember a lot after that. All my friends out here have always bagged on the Saints(not hard to do), and about 20 of them were at my house for the game.

I was watching at my sisters home, as I saw Porter snatch the ball, I jumped into the air, and farted loudly, it caught me and every1 in the room off guard. I tried to act as if nothing happened, but it was obvious to every1. I was forced to leave early. I went home and enjoyed the rest of the game

I was in the Saints endzone (along with several other people on here). Had my 12 year old nephew next to me...I just grabbed him and watched Porter take it all the way back. High-fived a whole bunch of strangers and probably spilled more of my 10 dollar beer

Yea no shite. I'm surprsied more people didn't mention this. I was in a bar with both arms extended shoving people off of me looking for a flag. I was screaming (I'm getting chills typing this btw, I swear!!!)

NO FLAG...NO FLAG...NO FLAG...and not until after the extra point was kicked did I go nuts.

The funny this is I couldn't hear anything that was being said all I remember was the sound of glass breaking.

Where: In the quarter in some bar

We've had our hearts broken SO MANY FRICKING TIMES!!! River City Realy anyone????!!!! I was praying for no flag.

This has been an amazing thread because of everyone's contributions. What's crazy, is that I can literally put myself in the shoes of just about everyone who commented here because I can remember so clearly how I felt and it seems that everyone's emotions were the same. I remember feeling some shock when Porter picked it off and my very first thought as well was, "Is there a flag?" I didn't go nuts until I realized there wasn't one.

Awesome thread guys. Keep it going. I'm really enjoying reading about everyone's experiences. Btw, I knew the game was over at that point. I just knew it.

we tailgate for every saints home game so there was no way we werent throwing something big for the bowl. started tailgating in my friends front yard in old metairie at about 10am. keg, crown, drinking games all day.

in my friends living room there were about 20 of us everywhere. couch, ground, folding chair, lawn chairs, beanbag, etc. i wa actually standing on the couch (nerves were way too much to sit) when it happened. beer goes flying and dive into the mosh pit/dog pile in the middle of the room screaming like a maniac. tearin up knowing my lid was finally validated because after all the years of people doggin the saints(even last yr there were still the doubters) and sticking with them we finally fricking did it.

as the clock ticked down we run to the fridge and arm ourselves with about a dozen bottles of champaign and have our own lockeroom celebration in the porch.

after that we b-line it for the quarter rolling down elysian hanging out the windows and sunroof wavin the colors in traffic with te rest of the who dat nation runnin wild. get dropped off and head to st louis cathedral where I laid the colors down in front the church, got on my knees and started bowing and thanking godforvletting this happen. people taking pictures and shite, and that's where it gets hazy.

WHO MOTHERfrickING DAT
