I was at Deanie's. The entire crowd was airborn! People high fiving and hugging everyone they could find - didn't matter if you knew them or not - as Saints fans they were all brothers and sisters at that moment!

I was in my apartment, with my roommate. We couldn't get people to come over since my reaction to Porter's pick of Favre probably scared everyone
I was cheering, but it was subdue, I was in shock and couldn't believe what I was seeing. My Mom called me, she was real excited, we both knew that we had one. Then, I looked at my roommate, who had called a pick 6 before the drive, and just said something like "You were right!" and I may have laughed. I don't remember everything

Where: I was at my apartment in BR with my roommates and some friends. The only thing I regret about watching the Super Bowl is not being able to watch it with my family. Especially my two grandpas.

What did I do: I was nervous the whole game.. I didn't really settle down until after Lance Moore's 2pt conversion... I don't really remember what happened when Tracy picked it off... i just know that I fell on the ground and cried and ran outside the complex and pointed to the sky and cried. People were outside popping fireworks and honking horns and yelling... My grandpa called and we were both crying on the phone

This is a GREAT thread It's fun to read everyone's reactions and stories. We will never forget that day

I was at a huge party at my nephew's house. As Porter scored, my nephew and I charged each other from opposite ends of the room for an extreme running chest bump / bear hug. The bad news...his wife picked a bad moment to wander inbetween us. The good news...we were able to revive her before the game ended.

I was at home.
What Porter crossed the goal line I (and the rest of the neighborhood) ran out into the street and started celebrating like it New Years.

I understand what you are trying to say but you have to admit that was a far superior feeling to New Years - any year.

I remember when I was standing on my front porch screaming with my arms up in the air in my quiet neighborhood, I was the only one. I kind of expected everyone in the neighborhood to be outside running around.

It was so quiet and I was so loud, I kind of got worried someone was going to call the police on me.

I reacted the same way to Porter intercepting Manning as I did to Landon Donovan's World Cup goal in the 91st minute.

I flung my glass of beer upwards (not the glass itself, just the beer) to spray the people around me, then I jumped up and down, screamed, and hugged friends.
