impressive as a backup.

I want my starter to play one position and be damned good at it. Not serviceable across the board.

Absolutely. It all depends on how the staff views Leary compared to Lelito or Kelemete at the guard position. If he's only as good, then I doubt they bring him in since he's lacking in versatility.

Why not kick the tires on Lance Moore and Wes Welker? At least as camp bodies to see if they have anything left in the tank. Moore already knows the offense plus either one would offer veteran leadership for the WR corps, especially if Colston is gone next year.

Al woods could provide a decent vet for our DL.. Could consider Travis Benjamin from Cleveland as well for WR.

Or bring back Roman Harper and Reggie Bush and let's do this super bowl thing throwback style.

Wouldn't mind seeing us try to get Brian quick on the cheap. Still pretty young and runs good routes.

I'm afraid somebody going to give ladarius a lot of money but he'd be great in the Jimmy role. The guy has serious talent and seems to be criminally underutilized

We are in rebuild so I don't think we go big time free agent. I'd love Ladarius Green in this offense, but I'm not holding my breath. Besides that, make a haul in the draft, shed Browner and Byrd and sign a big time FA next year.

Green would be an absolute beast with Drew.

I'm not going to make fun of you for the Reggie Bush line... because I actually thought it would have been fun to bring him back last offseason but we went Spiller instead. That may have been the wrong choice in retrospect.

Question though, how bad did he hurt himself in that slip during the 49ers game? He's suing them so it must be pretty bad on some level.

The way I see it, the team has three major needs:

DT, DE, WR. Just my personal opinion.

Of those three, the only one that we can make what seems to be a significant upgrade in that is not devastating to the cap is DT. Yes, it will cost some money, but I think we could get Ngata at a reasonable deal. Maybe 2 years? We have no chance of accomplishing that at WR or DE, if we're talking about getting a starter.

So it makes more sense to sign Ngata, and then look for the other two needs in the draft.

Depending on our free agency, if we can get a decent guard and WR, I am not opposed to double dipping DTs like Carolina.

Lotulelei and Short are a very good duo

I was only kidding about getting him back, but to answer your question... I'm not sure to be honest. I didn't think we was suing the team, I thought he was suing the stadium because of where the turf ends and the concrete begins or something. I do t know. Apparently a few teams have had injuries in the exact spot.

Suing them because they a concrete track that went all the way around the stadium. After a run his momentum took him past the bench, both feet slipped out from under him and pretty sure he either tore his knee or ACL up and was lost for the rest of the season.

It is pretty incredibly bush league to have a stadium set up like that in 2016. I mean this isn't high school.
