Needs to get a better number that's my expectation

That we'll finally have a true competent FS for the first time since Jenkins. And honestly he played way closer to the LOS most of the time so probably Sharper.
Anyone expecting 9 picks and what 4 pick 6s will be disappointed but I think he's what we've been missing for awhile now.

He starts and finishes all 19 games.

Anzalone-Anthony
I'm honestly surprised at the optimism surrounding Anthony. I liked the pick at the time, and am hopeful Nolan can make a useful player out of him. However, the knocks on him from college seemed to show up when he did play (slow to diagnose plays, inability to get off blocks), albeit in a rookie season. He couldn't beat out Stupar or Mauti last year, and still couldn't get on the field with injuries to JL and Ellerbe. With the increased competition for the 3 LB spots this season, I see Anthony as likely to be cut as he is to earn a starting spot.

Anthony won't be cut, man, y'all need to cut out the nonsense. Kid led the team in tackles as a rookie and last season was kinda played out of place and lost, you could see it, but you don't cut a talented LB'er like that. That's crazy talk.

That's why I just left Okafor as the rusher. Kikaha has a higher ceiling imho, but unsure of his play

Stating he has equal chances at startong as he does being cut =/= me betting on him getting cut. But the thought of him not being on the team next year isn't as crazy as you make it sound, despite his athleticism. Him "playing out of place and lost" aren't dismissive traits. No one is denying his size and athleticism, but it has to click upstairs as well.

I expect him to be the best Saints player from this year's draft.

He has great instincts, so if you simplify what he has to do, he can provide that extra half second to turn those pressures into sacks, which we apparently had a lot of last year.
The biggest thing is not giving up quick throws. We really didn't have a choice last year. We had to play a lot of zone and off coverage because of injuries. We'll be a lot more aggressive this year
Great post.
And I think he has a good chance to "start" this year, being one of the 3 safeties we employ often.
Bush and Bell are more "deep" SS, while Vaccaro is more box/nickel, so with Byrd gone there is a big hole at FS, playing that single high Allen likes to employ.
And apparently Williams was picking up things very quickly, which means he is very likely to see significant playing time if he learns the playbook. That's THE biggest thing for rookies aside from physical ability. If you don't know your assignment the coach won't trust you on the field.
This really could be the sneaky best pick of the draft, and I'm super high on Lattimore and very high on Ramcyzk and Kamara.
If Breaux comes back to his 2015 form or better, this should be our best secondary since 2009 (though 2013 was no slouch), potentially even better.

if he doesn't have 3 turnovers his rookie season, i'd be disappointed. I don't think that's too outrageous to ask for.

I don't think there is pressure for Kikaha to start just provide some meaningful snaps.

I expect him to start at FS in our 4-2-5. I also expect him to get better as the season goes along.
If Williams is good enough...it will be Bell coming out of the game when we run our 4-3 defense. We know Vaccaro isn't coming out.
