At least I'm not losing sleep over the receivers anymore. Coleman and Snead will round out this corp nicely. Whoever else they keep is gravy.

Jones back on practice squad imo.

We go with cooks colston coleman snead and Joe Morgan.

Morgan hadn't shown up, but he is still fast enough to be a deep threat and he's a willing blocker. He is what Meachem and devery were.

It took Devery a while to progress too, so there is always hope for Joe

Snead looks like a steal, and his average speed shouldn't be an issue with his quickness and the role he'll have

Joe showed up in preseason, just not last night. He was tied for the team lead in receptions with Snead before last night.

The only truly bad thing he did was not getting the ball in on the int. If we are going to knock him for the deep ball he had to wait for and then had the defender get his hand in his face then we should be knocking Coleman for not tucking the ball the other night and letting the defender knock it out.

I think we're safe at receiver as long as Cooks doesn't go down *knock on wood*.

Snead looks like he can become a possession receiver, I expect Moore of 2007. 30-40 receptions for 300-400 yards.

Coleman looks to be a reliable target. If he truly is just "#3" then I expect somewhere around 30-40 receptions for 500-600 yards.

Colston will regress no doubt, but will still be good for 800/6.

Cooks will take that leap forward, I think his ceiling is 90-100 receptions for 1200-1300 yards.

Edebali gets talked up a bit here and in the media, but he looks like just a guy to me.

He's no Junior.

But at least he can play the run.

I agree with you that he is not Junior (in terms of pass rush). But at least he is not a TPOS like Junior

I also agree with you that he is very solid against the run, which is HUGE

Devery had one "redshirt season" and by his second season he produced Morgan's career best numbers. By year 3 he was the Devery we remember. Joe Morgan is in year 5 now.
