Hope Payton figures out a way to get these guys on the 53 roster.
Neither one will make it to the practice squad.
Need young developmental players.

The good news of late is that we are more full of such players than in years past.

Muhammad will make it. Victor will be PS. Hard to say if he will be taken. Teams trust RBs that they have worked out and know.

In order to take him they have to put him on the 53 man roster. The Saints could pay him more salary also to keep other teams from being interested.

Victor's are a dime a dozen.

Victor could maybe make it. RBs are a dime a dozen and fortunately the way the final cuts happen now, teams have to sacrifice one of their own final 53 spots to get someone like victor which I just don't see most teams doing

Problem with Victor is that he doesnt seem to be a special teams stud like Lasco can. (Minus what I heard earlier). Muhammad on the other hand needs to make the team, but that might mean Tapp gets the boot which is tough. I want both of them, but obviously you cant cut a 3rd rounder in Hendrickson. So it might have to be. Cause okafor, kikaha and jordan arent going anywhere. I DOUBT we carry 6DE's but who knows.

Green Bay could use added depth at RB.

Victor is prime PS candidate. Nobody is going to be clamoring for a back with 19 carries for 71 yards (3.7 ypc which is not good), and 1 catch for 8 yards. His longest run was 11 yards.

Can he turn into something? Maybe, but he isn't tearing it up for teams to even notice him.

Muhammad, on the other hand, is getting pretty good pressure and teams are always looking for guys that can get pressure. If he keeps up the pace he's had I think he stays on the 53 for at least the first week (much lower odds of getting picked up after that if we want to make a change and try to stash him).

Not sure if he will be cut or not, but CSP doesn't usually keep players based on draft position.

Victor had some nice runs, but he's not tearing it up by any means.

Yeah I don't get the Victor love at all. He made maybe one good run in the chargers game.
Muhammad will make the team over tapp

Victor really doesn't have a chance barring injuries.

Muhammad puts up another good performance and he makes it.

agree with most that Muhammad likely makes the 53 and Victor PS at best. I was quite surprised with Edmunds in the last game. I had heard no buzz about him compared to Victor in camp. He showed me more in vision than Victor i his carries. Victor seems like a one cut bowling ball kinda runner. Wouldn't be surprised if he went PS before Victor.

They could. Hendrickson, Tapp, and Okafor have all slid inside on passing downs. NASCAR package is what the TV people called it.

I would part ways with Lewis or Coleman before Mohammed. Pass rush has been severely lacking in the last few yrs and a quality pass rusher is a valued commodity.

Lewis is a nice feel good player and Coleman has the "potential" but with all the offensive weapons that we have now are they really that important.

3 players will make it because of special teams. I think Lasco are 1 of them. Muhammad will be in the rotation.

I wouldn't cut Lewis or Coleman, that's some left field shite.

Why not someone who has under performed like Anthony. Why not a fringe player like Mauti or Lasco. Muhammad will make this team, but not at the expense of a wide out.

Mauri and Lasco contribute a lot on STs. Once the regular season starts and guys like AP, Ingram, Snead, Thomas, Kamara and Ginn actually play 4 quarters, Lewis would never see the field unless multiple players got hurt.

Guys that can rush the passer are at a premium.

Lewis will play this year. They will run 5 WR sets (no RB, no TE). They will have a package for him even if the other 4 are healthy. Plus, he can return.

Yes, pass rushers are a premium, but so are guys with versatility that have been proven to work hard and develop.
