LINK

I think it's clear as day that Aaron Rodgers is #1, #s 2-4 can be debated. And #5, Luck can be top 3 if he continues to learn and get better as he looks like he will.

ETA: Click the "Read More" link and they break down all his attributes. I think they're on the money.

quote:

ACCURACY
Brees is clearly confident in his ability to place the ball wherever he desires, and with good reason. The 36-year-old is operating at a different level than other quarterbacks with the kind of accuracy he can put on balls. It’s not just getting the ball into the receiver’s catch radius with Brees — it’s putting the ball in the right spot, where only his receiver can make the grab.
Grade: 10

quote:

ARM STRENGTH
If there was ever an exception to the rule that you can’t teach arm strength, it’s Brees. He came into the league with an underwhelming arm but during his prime, there wasn’t a better deep ball thrower in the game. While his ability to push the ball downfield has declined, Brees has plenty left in that surgically repaired shoulder to fit the ball into tight windows.
Grade: 8.5

There's other grades as well.

Luck had a great year 3, he is everything you would hope for after losing arguably the best QB to ever play the game.

His next step is to increase his accuracy, that will put him in the #1-2 QB contention with Rodgers.

I see we're still selective on what rankings we hold to.

They are among the top 3 (in my book) luckiest franchise in recent history in regards to getting back-to-back successful QBs. Is that truly luck? Most of it is. I've played along side guys at many positions that never panned out in the pros that I thought for sure would be playing on Sunday for as long as NFL careers last these days. But honestly, both Luck and Manning were as close to the "sure thing" as anything in their respective drafts.

Packers - Brett Favre > Aaron Rodgers
Patriots - Drew Bledsoe > Tom Brady
Colts - Peyton Manning > Andrew Luck

Over-all All Time Best (Non-Recent):
49ers - Joe Montana > Steve Young

If Luck continues to progress at the current rate he will be the premier QB in the NFL.

Yeah, there really wasn't a question these guys would pan out. Especially Luck.

For sure. He will win a Superbowl in the next 3-5 years imo.

Not if they don't repair their shitty oline problems. It amazes me how much that organization doesn't give a shite about Luck sitting on his back every game. You could have an argument for him in the top 3 because he's always under pressure making throws and he's young. They better fix the offensive line around him and stop drafting offensive weapons.

He's going to end up on a stretcher dead if it continues down the path of how many hits he's taken. Colts should be convicted of murder if that happens.

Reminds me of when the Cowboys drafted Aikman before they fully invested in possibly the best offensive line in the history of the NFL.

Yes

The rest, not so much. Ryan will be good, just needs some time and a decent line. He also has a better win record and post-season record. I can see the argument for either/or with Stafford and Ryan though.
