Trading Ingram would be the smart move.

Robinson is what Ingram was supposed to be. I would feel comfortable keeping Thomas, Robinson, and Cadet. The move would free up some cap room or, best case scenario, Ingram could be traded for some young defensive talent. I really hope that I am missing something and the Saints aren't just keeping him out of stubbornness or false nostalgia.

I'm sure we could get a middle round pick for him. That would free up some cap space for a possible attempt to package some draft picks for a trade for an established defensive playmaker.

If we could upgrade at any other starting position on the field i would hell yes. However, i dont think any team would trade a starter for him straight up.

Hes ours
But if the season is anything like the first 2 ....than Ingram is a bust ...period
