No idea. Would surprise me since Saints would be a little thin at rb if he was traded. Not a huge Ingram fan, but would effectively leave the position to just PT and Sproles.

I'd would not scoff at a trade of Ingram to the Giants for Damontre Moore and another pick. Bring Robinson along through the season. Khiry is more talented than Ingram.

Me too.
I don't think Robinson is ready.

Maybe cadet though.

Wow. May as well go get Clay Mathews. Hell, lets get AP.

Oh, those guys are rookie third round picks like Moore? They must be EXACTLY the same then.

The Giants love Demontre Moore. You think they give him up for Ingram? Nope. May as well go for the best. AND you want a pick? Bruh, you have a better chance of Ingram rushing for 1000 yards and 10 TDs than the Giants making that trade.

This is all speculative talk.

The Giants now have one smallish injury prone running back with no depth. They need another durable guy with some power.

Do I think they trade Moore? No. I said I would not scoff at it either way. The Giants have depth at the edge rusher spots.

Ingram could rush for 1000 and 10 TDs as the Giants starter actually.

As for the pick in such a hypothetical, it would clearly be a later round pick with conditions based on performance.

Anything else?

They actually do have a bit of depth. I don't think they are making this trade. This is just someone in the media connecting dots, thinking Robinson was great and Ingram was spare.

Oh really? Tell me about their depth. After Andre Brown's broken leg, that is.

Da'rel Scott, Micheal Cox - were competing for 3rd guy. Ryan Torain is also there.

Yes, they have players on the roster. They are not terribly good players, however. As you know.

I don't. But neither do you. However, it seems as if they are ok with it. I can say one thing for certain, they are not trading Demontre Moore for Mark Ingram.

You don't know what they are ok with since their second running back was injured less than a day ago. I watched their preseason games and have seen Torrain in the past; those other guys are not good enough. I'm not surprised you don't know anything about them.

I should call you the talent scout with all the pontificating you are doing about players in other threads.

First, nice word of the day calendar.

B. That's what we "message board GMs" do. I thought you would have known that. However, I'm only claiming opinion on Saints players. I don't watch other team's preseason games.

You don't know me, so you should not have thoughts about what I know or do not know. You are right about the message board GM's part, of course. But when you come off as condescending though, it will create these little sidebars.

I was going for sarcastic. I must have used the wrong font. No need to get the jimmies rustled.

Saints have to know by now they pushed the panic button when they traded up to draft this guy. He's as overrated a RB as they come, won the Heismann in a down year for college players. They can get something for hin on the market I'm sure. They should just take whatever they can get because he justs takes playin time away from a Khiry Robinson like he did with Ivory.
