I wanted Jarvis Jones when we drafted this year and I was livid when we got Vaccaro.

Vaccaro is the fricking man, and I apologize for ever doubting him

As I said in the main game thread, I'll eat a plate full served by Rob Ryan. This defense is totally shocking me.

I thought Vacarro was a dumb pick AND I hated the Ryan hire.

I guess I'm way up there in the crow line.

Vacarro must be happy to play for a team that isn't a dumpster fire now. He was one of the only good players on that Texas defense last year.

I'll say this however....you wonder if it'll carry over into next year or the year after. Reminds me a lot of Gregg Williams when he got here and that shine left pretty early.

Me too, can't lie. at least so far it was the right pick, still got a whole career to go before really knowing.

I am eating my crow too, and it is probably the best damn crow I have ever tasted! IT sure goes down good smothered in some 3-0 sauce!

1. I'm going to enjoy it now an not worry about next year or even next week

2. If that shine is another Super Bowl win then ill take it

That saints d was also smoke and mirrors that got tons of opportune turnovers. This d is just ballin

here's the thing. all of us can be wrong so crow isn't that important.

but what i'm always surprised by (and i really shouldn't be) is how fricking certain people are about picks either bad or good. when vaccaro was chosen, i thought it was a good pick, but i certainly understood that some people preferred the guy with the gimp leg and character issues because he had been a beast in college.

same with ryan. i had my doubts (as i would with any hire) but of the candidates out there he made as much sense as anyone who was actually interested in taking the job.

it's always a crapshoot.

No but we were pretty high up for scoring d in 2010 I think.

As for crow eating, I'm glad I was right about everything else but I'm eating delicious crow about Big John Jenkins. Didn't think he was in shape enough to play more than maybe 20 snaps a game.

+1.

People let their emotions rule them when it comes to sports.
It's why gameday is so ridiculous here.

That and the random posters who show up.
