Do you know what a Super Bowl does for a city and franchise like New Orleans?

Don't compare yourself to a Super Bowl champion head coach when you're talking about employment

As far as ""It has done so much for the city."" What?? Murder every minute in all areas of NOLA. Crime capital of the South.

You sound like the idiot on the radio that said players should get paid half their salary when they lose

I think its because he and Breeze are still together with the Saints. They do pump it a little too much considering it was six years ago. There are 19 franchises with Superbowl championships and 6 of them with more recent championships.
Peyton & Breeze need to do it again.

if any of us pulled the equivalent of 7-9, 7-9 and now 5-7 IRL at our jobs we would be run off from our jobs.

Show me another coach who has owned a top 5 offense every year of his tenure.

Doesn't matter! He's the HC not just the OC and we are going to be without a winning record for likely 3 years in a row now. He's not the only problem with the team but his playcalling is questionable at times.

I agree with you and I think that it is time that he quits getting a free pass. I know that probably will not be the case as long as Benson is at the helm or ownership is in the wind.

I'm tired of the coach speak and the player speak of things have got to get better and we need to do things the right way.

There is a major disconnect with Payton and his players. They might like him but he doesn't get the best from them. If he did you would not have the erratic ebbs and flows of this team. They need to change their approach to everything. How they do things at home and how they do things on the road.

You heard on the broadcast the announcers were saying that they were worried about a let down after last week's Gregg Williams game. Again I wondered why that was such a news story and how Williams who lead a defense in Super Bowl 44 became Public Enemy #1, but I guess the Saints needed a cause or something to rally against. How about you play 16 freaking games and 8 of them are at home. How much more motivation do you need?

This idea that you need to get pumped up. What about not wanting to lose? What about fighting for a chance to get in the playoffs.

IMO a Super Bowl buys you immunity for 5 years. After that all bets are off
