Outside stadiums favor the home team which is acclimated to the conditios. We all know that. All games should be based on coaching and talent ie. it should be straight up team vs team. We all know that.
The season-end in winter favors northern teams who have practiced and played in the cold weather. Not providing protection shows a callous disregard for fans and players alike.
The money is there to easily do this. If money-junkie owners wouldn't just move the team, the fans might demand covered stadiums in the frozen climes.
It's a bad situation I've hated for many a year.
------------------
Unrelated but I watched Denver when Elway was quarterback. They had an easy schedule then..they have an easy one now. This helps to account for His Majesty's performances. There are some others who think this way too..but you'll never hear them on ESPN.

I have predicted the Saints and 10 tomorrow..but secretly, I hope it's a Saints win even better than the Cardinal game. Blowout Saints wins are so much fun!

the post was ok, it's just that your thread had been shown to be incorrect..no storms, no heavy rain
As to what's important..I know you will be there tomorrow cheering for the team..as will we all.
Believe in the team..we will win!

you are correct, the weather looks better than it did when I checked the report this morning at 7am. we will cheer our team together break bread with those we love and hope that peace is the predominant feeling in the hearts of anyone not wearing the black and gold in soldier field tomorrow.
Your words are appreciated and I respect the views of everyone here not just in this thread, but in the whole forum.

Well, let's see..I have been to Thibodeax and Larose. Lake Charles and Natchitoches. Baton Rouge, of course..and I lived in the Quarter,,when was that..maybe the late 60's early seventies. It a little hard to recall those days :o)..if you know what I mean!
I've lived in the east and I've lived in the west. From Seattle to Santa Fe..Colorado Springs to Corpus Christie. I was a bonafide WWL "big talker" in Tulsa Town, and a Saints fan in Denver, Co.
But I've never been to Lafayette. Maybe one day I'll visit there too.
I've followed the Saints since Billy Kilmer. It's a new day and I'm glad I'm still here to see it.
Go Saints!

Gonna make for a muddy field and conditions not best suited to the Saints and our game.
Rain favors the passing game. I had to straighten out the Rant earlier today when they brought up this MYTH, thinking it might rain in Starkville.
It's defensive backs who can't abruptly change course after a WR turns his route upfield. WRs have the advantage.
It's the RBs that can't cut, juke, or spin on a wet field.
I can point to a million games in the rain where everyone decried how it would affect the QB, and then the game happens and the QB throws for 400+ yards.

I just checked the hourly forecast, and their's a 10% chance of rain at 2 and 3. We're good fellas.

Just checked the radar, and looks like all the rain is past.

That line that passed through turned their cow pasture into an even bigger POS. Notice Aikman said they haven't cut the grass all week either.

DUDE YOU WERE RIGHT. The weather is AWFUL. Storm looks really bad.
