I can't believe it's been one year already... I would give anything to go back in time so I could have that feeling again. The fact that I got to share it in the Dome with my grandpa who I've watched games with since I was little made it even greater

top of the dome with my brother...we paid 800 for 2 tickets

I also literally did not watch it in person, I was in my seat with my head in my hands. I knew that shite was going in by the noise.

Section 611, Row 37, Seat 20

I paid $350 for my ticket.

It was the greatest game I have ever seen in my life. I lost five years off my life watching that game. I had the worst headache from yelling so much, yet I toughed it out and continued to yell even though it hurt like hell.

The crowd was so intense! These people were watching it as if their life depended on the outcome.

The booth reviews were so nerve racking! The coin toss in overtime was one of the most intense moments of my life.

I have been a Saints fan since 1987, and it was like all the games of 1987 to Jan 24, 2010 were classroom courses preparing me for the greatest game I would ever see in my life, the 2009 NFCCG.

When Hartley made the kick, I did not cheer. I wanted to make damn sure this moment was real, that it was really happening, that THE SAINTS WERE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!

I was sitting in the upper area of the Dome not knowing if I could handle it. I had been eating jambalaya earlier in the game and had the plastic knife from the utensil kit in my pocket. For whatever reason, I kept squeezing the knife every time I got nervous. Practically wore the thing out. Then, when Hartley's kick came around, everyone started holding hands and putting their arms around each other as if we were all hoping to survive some type of disaster. When the kick went through the uprights, it was the sense of pure jubiliation unlike anything like I have ever experienced at a sporting event (and will probably never experience again).

I was crouched behind my Dad's recliner, peeking around the side at the TV and trying not to puke. When Hartley booted it, I yelled 'HOLY shite', then my Dad hopped out of his recliner screaming. The recoil of the chair caused the edge of the back to hit me in the face. And I didn't care.

never was there a feeling to me that so much was riding on a game...literally felt like I had ran a marathon

I've only witnessed one other sporting event with the same intensity, and it was a looong time prior to this.

The part where I had my head in my hands was on the Vikings' final drive in regulation - my friend and I just couldn't bear to look at it.

But then we heard a huge noise...

Section 614 - 50 yard line.
Heart pounding like Queen in "We Will Rock You" and adrenelane flowing like Niagra Falls.
Praying, whooping with skeleton vocal chords, then red eyes....
Then we walked all the way down Poydras to Harrah's then the French Quarter.

I was in the nosebleed section. Moments earlier it seemed Favre was going to end the Saints season, but Porter stepped up. Still before Hartley drained it I was nervous as hell. I had trouble standing up. When you think of all the things that have to go right for a FG to be made (good snap, hold)you get even more nervous.

I was sitting on the floor at my friends house eating the Gumbo I made that day (semeed the right thing to make for the SB ). when Porter picked it, I jumped up and effed my knee - has hurt to this day off and on.

LOL my pain is a reminder to happiness ROFL.
