was able to enjoy a suite too, gotta rate it the most incredible and intense sports experience of my life.

I've invested so much of my soul into this team over the years it went beyond game or sport experience. The decades of hope fulfilled was not all that far behind my firstborn crawling out into my hands. In fact, the drama of a game that hangs in the balance might be more pointedly intense. You know that birth moment is coming or you plan on wedding vows for months (usually ). I hoped and prayed for that moment for prolly longer than anything else in my lfe. But until the kick went through the crossbars there was still an unknown factor if this was going to be it.

Stressed out and nervous, walking around my backyard telling God I'd donate $100.00 to Capitol One's Haiti relief form if the Saints won the game.

The following Tuesday I wrote a check to Cap One for $100.00. Best C-note I ever spent.

The Kick!

It was difficult not to come out early from my self-imposed banishment to post this. So I waited!!

In the dome. Section 122, Row 32, Seat 15. Crying like a girl and hugging strangers. Probably hugged a few of y'all! Walked down to the front to watch Sharper take that victory lap with the trophy then just stood there in awe with tears in my eyes and an unlit victory cigar in my mouth as I just took in the scene and continued to hi-five and/or hug a bunch of random people.

Best $550 I ever spent!!

Facedown, on my living room floor. Couldn't watch.

My parents started screaming.

I just cried.

I missed the first 3 quarters because of work.

After the kick, I was in shock. My dad had season tix from 67-83 and I went to every game from 68 on (yeah, I'm old). This was something I never thought would happen. As for the SB, I obviously wanted us to win, but just getting there made my year.
