Herbie Teope?Verified account @HerbieTeope Following More #Saints are among the teams interested in Bengals guard Kevin Zeitler, according to a source. Zeitler will be a free agent Thursday.

Would give us a top 3 OL.

Per Rotoworld...

Much like RT Rick Wagner did with the right-tackle market on Wednesday, Zeitler is expected to reset the right-guard market on Thursday. He's fully expected to land $10 million-plus annually, and plenty of teams have interest, including the Browns, Jaguars, and Colts. Zeitler would be a much younger upgrade on longtime Saints RG Jahri Evans, 33, who is also a free agent.

Make it happen! Mixon is gonna be a BEAST behind this offensive line!

I've heard something like TWENTY teams are going after him. It's going to be extremely expensive.

We REALLY need to add a legit RG in free agency. Our line would be sick.

LT Armstead
LG Peat
OC Unger
RG F.A. acquisition
RT Strief

Kelemete 1st off the bench & can play all positions on the O-Line.

Most of them probably aren't willing & capable of spending a lot on an OG. We have plenty of money & it's arguably our biggest need.

Also, CSP has commented on how shitty the draft is at OG more than once. We're getting an OG in free agency...it's just a question of who it's going to be.

Kelemete can play RG, maybe even RT in a pinch, but should definitely stick to his natural side. He's a thousand times better on the left than the right (played LT in HS and some in college).

Crazy how we have 3 really legit LTs and not one above average (or hell maybe not even average) RG.

I agree. He filled in at LT in 2015(against the Falcons I think) & did a damn good job. We're fortunate to have him.

I doubt most teams will lock up $10 + mil in a RG. That should narrow it.
I expect him to get around $12-14

Zeitler
Logan Ryan
Fairley

Brees thrived with great guards up the middle.

Evans and Nicks
Evans and Grubbs

So I believe they will spend on a RG because even taking one in the 2nd round could still be a project and not add much to the 2017 Season.

I don't know if its 20 but there is a lot of interest so hopefully, if he thinks we can compete for a SB, that might help us convince him to give up a "little" money to come here. depends what is most important in his mind, its not always the highest bidder who wins, but it usually is

kinda thinking we get out bid for him thou

that might not be a bad thing, if we don't have to spend so much on Zeitler, we can use that money somewhere else

Leary is not a bad second place prize at all.

throwing 12 Mill a year at a guard scares me, but it is a glaring need.

He will & he'll backload it. It won't be that much the 1st year.

I don't like Loomis anymore than you do, but you should know his style by now. He knows what he's doing...you just have to point him in the right direction.

If we get a pro bowler for 12 mil. Per year at guard and he lives up to his contract then I am all for it.
