Get nothing less than a 12-19th round pick & another 3rd-4th roundish pick

That's not going to happen. Best offer we have right now is the Pats 32nd pick. That's our floor I believe as we will trade him rather than keep division in the locker room. The 14th-18th pick alone would be tremendous value for Cooks. I'd be ok with pick 32 as well after the events of the last few days.

San Fran is signing Garcon. In the first year he will get 16 million dollars. Not sure how the rest of that is structured. While it takes a FA WR off the board, that might scare the shite out of teams as to how much Cooks will cost on a long term deal.
Saw that report. Would imagine much of that is the signing bonus. Most new FA contract involve a big number up front.

You know that how? Just because something is leaked to the media does not mean that is all that is going on.

Or just trade for a first round pick and sign this guy quote: 14. Dont’a Hightower, LB, Patriots 2016 PFF pass-rush grade: 77.7 The first player on the list that doesn’t play either edge rusher or on the D-line’s interior, Dont’a Hightower is the best blitzer in the game. This season, he has three sacks and 12 total pressures from only 54 blitzes, and a year ago he totaled 24 pressures on the blitz. Hightower has an excellent ability to hide his approach before bursting through the line gap with the kind of strength and speed that blockers can’t counter, and it’s a valuable part of New England’s pass-rush.

oh how i wish!

I would rather have Cooks at 23 under contract for 2 more years and decide what to do from there.

3 years with the tag, or 4 if we double tag. No rush to dump him this year.

Also yeah we are talking about a an undersized edge rusher which we already have with Kikaha who is turning 29 and never had huge sack or pressure numbers.

No thanks unless they are giving up that mid round first.

Cooks for Graham plus a pick would be awesome. Graham has 2 years - $13M left on his contract. His sack numbers weren't the best, but he gets after the QB. He led the league with 40 QB hurries last year. That's outstanding. Put him opposite Cam and he would wreck shite.

Graham finished 2016 rated higher than Cam Jordan. 9th rated player overall by PFF. But hey, our fans know best cause they can tell how good a player is from their sack total

ETA: should have read thread

Judging by the this thread I am in the minority, but I think Graham for Cooks is pretty fair for us.
