It's just unexpected. He is a great value player, besides a fan favorite. Let's hope he retires a Saint.

The Falcons wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to maximize PT.

I think in our new zone blocking scheme, his screen pass abilities would fit perfectly personally.

Zone blocking requires offensive linemen to run and run hard. After this training cap, they should be able to run to the outside and set up some good blocking for our running backs.

Usually we can only throw wr screen passes, but thankfully Shanahan scheme with fast lineman utilizes the screen pass more. When he was with the Redskins, 16% of Griffin's passes were screen passes.

There's only one player in Saints history worthy of that distinction, and he throws one back breaking INT per game

you guys do realize Ingram is rated as being better than most of the options out there that are within our price range not to mention he's 25 and when given the ball in a lead roll absolutely crushed it. I love PT, but you cant hold on to player forever. Looking forward to Ingram toating the rock. Would like to add a Dri Archer like back later in the draft though

Doesn't seem to be stopping us from keeping Colston who is less efficient than PT

Worst saints news I've heard in a long time.

Thanks PT for your hard work and our first ever super bowl touchdown. Good luck with the rest of your career, which I wish was with the saints.
