Wow. I guess they think they can get comparable performance cheaper, or do without, but they're wrong. He's been one of the steadiest players on the team. You don't just replace consistently good on the cheap or by committee.

pierre Thomas was great for the saints...a fan favorite.

I posted this in the other thread but thinking more on it this may have been more about showing Ingram he is the number one guy here rather than a cost savings move.
