per Pro Football Talk
7 yr pro out of Virginia Tech, played with SF, WSH, and CHI
Had some decent seasons as a 4th WR type
6'1" 215 with some speed

At first I thought of Joe Morgan

His blocking skills are what we wanted.

This is their idea of bringing in a decent WR?

He's a blocker that will catch a pass every now and then.
I don't know what you're expecting

Sounds like Robert Meachem with cartilage still in his knees.

do you really think this is madden? step in to reality, buddy.

Didn't he have a really good year with Wash in RG3s rookie year?

Yeah, but i don't expect much out of him. I have more faith in Toon, Coleman, and Jones tbh

I like this....
No he's not gonna come in here and set the world on fire or anything like that, but he's an NFL vet that has proven he can produce in the league(which is more than a lot of WRs on our roster have done) and give us some decent depth at the WR spot. He will contribute in some way.
He's also very strong and well built...
Safe signing that could potentially have a solid season for us. Wouldn't be surprised if he contributes more than some people think.

Well.....there's a reason he's stuck in the league for 7 years already.

a solid vet on the cheap.
7 years, 93 games, 61 starts, steady player with only one significant injury outage. 2.2 receptions per game while never more than a #3 WR. Also has rushed for 146yds on 14 attempts
kinda accurate for him in camp last year for the Bears-
He's been in steady decline since flashing early-career promise in San Francisco. A plus blocker but simply not a big-time receiving threat
Sounds like Meachem nowadays
