Not totally surprised if this is the route the Saints are going to take, Didn't someone mention here that the Saints have traded up every year except one (I think they said it was 2009).
We stayed put for Bush, Meachem, Jenkins, Robinson, Jordan, and Vaccaro.
We've traded up/in a bunch in other rounds too(as well as back a couple of times), but we've stayed put in the first more than we've traded up/in by 6 to 2.

Neither Cooks (5'10"/189) nor Lee (6'0"/192) nor even ODB (5'11"/198) are Calvin Johnson (6'5" 236). Do we need a CJ? Absolutely. These small fast guys are not him; they are more like TheShawn Jackson.
I think it's silly to trade up for a WR, especially for one that will most likely be there for us to draft at 27. I think (hope?) this is hogwash rumor, and I shall ignore it as such.
